Daniel M. Meier studied law at the Universities of Bern (Bachelor of Law, 2022) and Zurich (Master of Law, 2024). He currently works as a Research and Teaching Fellow at the Faculty of Law of the University of Zurich where he writes his doctoral dissertation about the applicability of the right to freedom of information to privatised entities.

Kantonal-zürcherisches Öffentlichkeitsrecht ist auch auf Dokumente mit Bezug auf interkantonale Konferenzen anwendbar. Im Rahmen der Interessensabwägung kommt dem öffentlichen Interesse am Schutz der Beziehungen zwischen den Gliedstaaten jedoch ein grosses Gewicht zu.
